GEOBAG is a geosynthetic product in the form of bag which made of polypropylene woven geotextile that specially engineered for various hydraulic engineering applications. With its unique characteristics and properties, it is one of the best products when it comes to protecting riverbanks, shoreling and many hydraulic structures.
It acts as sand containers, where local sands is filled into the bags to form pillow-like soft structures in order to prevent the event of erosion of scoring immediately after application. In addition to its flexible structure, it is also a sustainable and cost effective solution. As opposed to other conventional river protection method, the sand filled approached had proven that it requires less installation and maintenance, resulting in 40-60% of cost savings.
