What is FIBROGRID?
Fibrogrid is a woven knitted geogrid which is made of high tenacity multifilament polyester yarns and coated with PVC or tar. Not only that the external layer of coating provides excellent resistance to installation damage, it also prevents damage from ultra-violet radiation, chemicals and microorganisms from soil.

Fibrogrid is flexible, installation friendly, light in weight, and it can be custom made based on the technical requirements, such as tensile strength, mesh sizes, coaring materials, while maintaining low elongation and creep factor.

Fibrogrid can be applied in many civil applications where reinforcement is essential. It is often used in retaining wall, embankments and slopes as reinforcement and tie back material. It it also ideal to be used at soft grounds, road works and railways to receive high traffic and loading as well as to prevent differential settlement.

Fibrogrid is specialy engineered to reinforce soft soil, ground bearing strength, increase overall stability and reduce soil strain to prevent shear failure and / or slopw sliding.


apart from achieveing technical function and performance, Fibrogrid also offers high economic effiency. It allows engineer to use in-situ soil or minimize importation of back fillinf material such as sand and gravels. Besides, it also provides savings on land area either for construction works, or for development.

Depending on the design and slope gradient, geogrid wall can be constructed together with furfing in the layers during installation; or hydroseeding on the surface on the wall is completed. This will provide aesthetic benefits and greenery to the surrounding and the wall will be more robust as the grass roots holding the soil tightly.
